Nicholas Mirisis is Chief Executive Officer and a Board Member at HomeTown Ticketing, an EdTech Software as a Service (SaaS) company dedicated to aiding educational institutions in maximizing revenue from activities through a comprehensive management platform. With a deep-seated passion for assisting educational leaders in overcoming challenges related to events, operations, and fundraising, he focuses on optimizing financial resources for the benefit of students and their programs. Since 2023, he has served as Operating Partner at Fulcrum Venture Group.
With over two decades of experience in growth-oriented executive roles, Nicholas Mirisis has demonstrated a remarkable track record in spearheading innovative acquisition, revenue generation, and retention strategies. Before his tenure at HomeTown Ticketing, he held prominent leadership positions at various renowned companies, including SamCart, a venture capital-backed SaaS company specializing in CheckoutOS automation, Mirisis served as the Chief Revenue Officer and President/GM of eCommerce, witnessing substantial growth from $11 million to $30 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Prior to SamCart, he played pivotal roles as the Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at GoCanvas, a private equity-backed SaaS provider, where he contributed to doubling the ARR from $19 million to $46 million. Mirisis’ extensive career also includes significant contributions at Dude Solutions (formerly SchoolDude), where he spent 13 years in marketing, strategy, and Go-to-Market (GTM) leadership roles. During his tenure, the company grew from a modest start of 30 employees and $1 million ARR to over 750 employees and $100 million in revenues post-Series-B capitalization.
Nicholas Mirisis earned a Master's degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Consortium for School Networking and the National Business Officers Association. Mirisis is recognized as a customer-centric thought leader capable of navigating changing market dynamics. His ability to translate vision into actionable plans has been instrumental in the growth and success of the organizations he has been a part of. With a focus on building high-performing teams and scaling GTM strategies, he continues to make significant contributions to the tech industry.
